Has this ever happened to you? You hear a great song, you are excited and can’t wait forthe video. The record label/artist finally releases the video and you think or say, “arrgh! What a horrible video!”
It has definitely happened to us that is why we appreciate Nigeria’s Sound City Music Video Awards [SMVA], an award, ” . . .to reward excellent and compelling music video performance, enhancements and general music video production, “ as the producers explain.
The award is now in its second year and is scheduled for August, 1st 2009. Last year saw America’s hip-hop artist Nas in attendance. We wonder who will attend from the USA or Europe this year! Below are the nominees for SMVA 2009 Awards, TuFace(African Queen), and P-Square(featured on CNN) lead the pack. Visit SMVA for the full scoop and to vote!
