Minimalism is all the rave for hair and makeup at the Arise Capetown Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
FACE: Two ways to do a minimalist face for Spring/Summer 2010. Option #1: Opt for dramatic yet light smoky eyes. The rest of the face should be kept clean and fresh with natural blush and lips.
Option #2: Start with a fresh clean face. Eyebrows are strong but not overpowering. Cheekbones are also natural with natural blush colors. The lips are where you really have fun! Throw in a burst of red or plum colored lipstick to make your lips appear fuller than they already are.
HAIR: Gavin Rajah gave us voluminous hair atypical of Fall/Winter. But for Spring we want easy, relaxed hair. For short hair consider a pixie cut. For long hair, shake things up with tousled curls and of course don’t forget to work the chic but undone pony tail look!
