Dublin Africa Fashion Weekend 2010
The continent of Africa produces over 20 fashion weeks creating an outlet for both industry and consumers of African fashions to enjoy. This 2010, the diaspora is matching the momentum with more fashion week producers entering the marketplace. Dublin (Ireland) Fashion Weekend 2010 is one such new comer. Spearheaded by Creative Director Stha Ngwenya, DAFW is described as the “premium Fashion Weekend, showcasing Top African Designers in Europe… to an audience of fashion lovers, buyers, stylists, media, magazine editors & public. It is a platform to create networks…”
DAFW will be held on April 2nd-4th, 2010 and has confirmed the participation of Eric Raisina, fashion designer who showed at New York Fashion Week this past spring, for the first time.
