Nkwo ‘Afromania’ Collection 2010 – a bit free spirited, a bit nomadic, TOTALLY AFRICAN!

by Ladybrille Magazine on February 25, 2010 No Comment

Designer Nkwo Onwuka prepares to release her diffusion range ‘Afromania’ collection under the Nkwo label. Afromania is meant to be a line that is more affordable and accessible.

“We had a great time shooting the photos for the look book/website. (I am) really excited about this range and it has excited a number of buyers from all over,” said Onwuka. “(It is) a bit free spirited, a bit nomadic (and) totally African.”

Ladybrillemag.com is glad to see African designers creating collections that are accessible and affordable. Ultimately, it is what will keep them in business for a long time, especially during a hard economy.
